Summit Brewing

Summit Brewing is a beloved local brewery and Saint Paul mainstay which opened its doors in the late 80s. Over the years, Summit has grown immensely and has consistently produced more beer than any other craft brewer in the state of Minnesota. A local powerhouse, the company continuously donates their time and money to deserving organizations and has won a number of prestigious brewing awards. Summit Brewing celebrated its 25th anniversary by working with us on a redesign of their website and blog.

Challenge

From Beer to Blog Posts

High profile brewery, Summit Brewing, came to Internet Exposure in need of an updated, modern, and informative site which promoted their brand and diverse, flavorful beers effectively. In addition, they sought an intuitive, powerful content management tool which staff could utilize to post updates about featured brewers, upcoming events and the latest craft beer offerings to their approximate 30,000 website visitors every month. The CMS had to help them do all of this in the simplest way possible. In addition we advised in all technological matters related to the site redesign, while a local Minneapolis agency took charge in creating the design.

Savvy Staff

Internet Exposure took the reins in creating a user-friendly content management system which allowed the staff of the fast-paced brewery to make website updates quickly. Everything was designed to be fully managed and updated directly by the Summit staff, from the rotating slideshow on the homepage, to the brewery tour scheduling application.

Result

Complete Control

The custom content management system we created gave Summit just what they needed: complete control over nearly every feature of their dynamic website. Details of each beer are now easily managed within the CMS and new beers just as are easily added- all from the CMS. We also assisted Summit in migrating all of their existing blog posts into the redesigned environment, increased the anti-spam measures and integrated various social media channels throughout the new website. On top of that, we also host the website in our secure data center.
